John Lofgren Bootmaker Moc Toe Boots are utilitarian luxury. The original Moc Toe hunting boot dates from the early 1900s and has been a staple for outdoorsmen, farmers and construction workers in one style or another ever since. Our particular Moc Toe is mainly influenced from a 1950s design. That's where the similarities end. The John Lofgren Bootmaker Moc Toe is built to be as comfortable as they are solid. No room for shortcuts in construction or materials. The uppers are Horween Chromexcel, the mid-soles are always real leather, never plastic. We use real cork filler, never inferior materials like cardboard. All materials that go into our footwear come from suppliers that manufacture in the USA, Japan, Germany, France, England and Italy. And of course, like all John Lofgren Bootmaker footwear, are totally built in Japan with master craftsmanship in all details.
