Trousers belt for GI adopted by the US Army in 1937. The width of the thickly woven belt is 1-1/4 inches, and the buckle painted black on brass is not a pin type, but has a strong grip that bites the entire width of the belt. On the back of the belt, "U.S.J.Q.M.D", which represents government-issued items, and the year and size are marked. The M-37, which was supplied until the mid-1940s, was khaki for the early model and olive for the late model.
